Main logo

The main logo lockup consists of two elements:

Our symbol is shaped as neither a square nor a circle, it's a squircle – different, but not crazy. It's blue as the sky, friendly and safe. And if you use your imagination a little bit, and squint your eyes looking at that Nº symbol, you might just see a little person.

The symbol colour is Nmbrs Blue with white.
Our wordmark represents that we stand for: simple and efficient – we don't need the vowels. In writing it's also simply Nmbrs (not Nmbrs® and not NMBRS).

The wordmark colour is Text Blue or white — never black.

The main logo always has a blue symbol. There are two versions of the main logo for usage on either light or dark backgrounds. It doesn't matter if these backgrounds are a solid color or photographic.

Where possible, use the Main Logo with the blue symbol

White logo

As an alternative to our main logo, we have an all-white version. This one can only be used on a background that is Nmbrs Blue – or very close to that where the symbol of the main logo won't be visible anymore.

Always make sure there's Nmbrs Blue somewhere when using the white logo

Symbol

Arguably the most iconic icon on the smartphones of 1.3 million employees, our symbol can almost be seen as the Swoosh of HR & Payroll – well, almost.

The logo rules apply here too: only use the white symbol on a Nmbrs Blue backgrounds.

We promised there would be rules. But we did make them visual so you don't have to read.

Always respect the safe areas when using the logo or symbol

Use the main logo with the dark wordmark on white or light backgrounds.

Use the main logo with the white wordmark on dark backgrounds.

Use the all-white version on backgrounds that are (close to) Nmbrs Blue

Do not use the white logo on any other background than (almost) Nmbrs Blue.

Do not use the deprecated "inverted" logo with the blue Nº symbol.

Do not place the logo on a busy photography.

Do not change the logo colours and/or remove any element from the logo

Do not add effects to the logo — includes but is not limited to: bevel and emboss, lighting effects and drop shadows.

Do not use the old Visma Nmbrs logo, or the old symbol. You can recognize the old symbol by the slightly curved N (see arrow).

Don't use the vintage logo, or write the name as Nmbrs® or NMBRS.

Do not use the Nº symbol without the squircle

The "By VISMA" label is only used in the top-left corner of the website — not in any other branding or marketing.

Symbol as icon

The Nmbrs Symbol can also be used as an application icon or profile picture for online services. Since there are so many different formats for this, our design team judges the best approach for each platform.

Below are a few examples:

Square profile pictures on white backgrounds: On platforms that show the profile picture on a white background only (e.g. Linkedin), we use a version of the icon on a white background to keep the appearance of our squircle shape intact.

Icons with pre-set shapes: Many platforms have pre-defined shapes for icons like a rounded rectangle (iOS) or a circle (Android, Gmail, Instagram). To prevent a shape-in-shape effect, we use a special version of the Symbol that fits this shape while keeping the appearance of the Main logo as close as possible. Assets for this are delivered on request.

Plus features

Some of our plus features have their own logo. For these, all the rules above apply. Other than different logos, there is no differentiation in branding for plus features.
